At my twenty week ultrasound, I was told I was having a boy. Today, I discovered that I am in fact pregnant with a baby girl. I had the boy name picked out -- Ethan Lucas. Ethan is a name that I love, and Lucas is after my brother that passed away in 2008.
I have some names in mind for a girl, but I'm not sure which one sounds best. The middle name is going to be Marie. I realize that this name is very overused as a middle name, but it's my mom's mom's middle name, my mom's middle name, and my middle name. I'd like to continue with the tradition.
Which name do you like the best?

i think Cara Marie is very pretty, it sounds very Italian, and is becoming, working well for a child and an adult.
I'm back and forth on Abigail, which is insanely popular anyway, and the nick name Abby makes me think of the old advice/newspaper collumn "Ask Abby"
Hannah is cute but also very common, and I know a ton of Hannah Marie's.
Lila is absolutely gorgeous, especially with that spelling, but with some many Leah, Leila, Lilia, Lelah, and Lilah's being born, it'd be a bit of a burden to have.
Brooke just seems harsh to me.

I would use one of the less common ones since Marie is so common. So I don't think Hannah and Abigail are good choices (they are nice names, but overused. I theres an extremely high chance of someone in her class being Abigail Marie or Hannah Marie). Cara Marie, Amelia Marie and Brooke Marie,are all GREAT! Lila is nice. Out of yours I think Cara Marie is the best, Brooke Marie a close second and Amelia Marie third. Amelia is my favorite name out of those, but sounds strange with Marie to me. I love Abigail Marie, Hannah Marie and Lila Marie. Cara isn't bad either, but I do not like Brooke.
For Abigail, would you please consider spelling her nickname 'Aby'? That's my favourite way to spell that nickname because it's different and original and it's really fun. Aby Marie looks neat too :]
I love the name Lila, however I always spell it Leighla. It's beautiful, and I would probably pick this one or Aby.
Hannah is precious too, however it's a bit overused which is the only problem.
Cara is very pretty, but a little too simple to go with a middle name like Marie.
