I can't tell if it's worth the extra money getting the 3GB or sticking with the 2GB. What the difference in terms of performance. The 3GB is defiantly larger so I'm assuming it'll use more power
Almost identical power consumption to answer that 1st question, the GPU itself drains most of the power, not the VRAM, now for is it worth it? Only if you are in hhigher resolution than 1920x1080, so as soon as youre on a 1440p monitor, or any type of multi monitor surround setup it starts benefiting from the extra VRAM, otherwise, you are not actually using the full 3GB
