Depending on your definition of "awkward." Is it a funny feeling in the pit of your stomach (kinda like you'll do anything in the world for this girl) or is it the "I really shouldn't be with this girl right now and maybe it's not a good idea to lead her on?" I would talk to her and tell her what it is you're feeling. Just see what she is feeling. It's only been a few days so if you can, give it a chance. You'll know if it isn't right. =] If you're going to be with someone it might as well be your best friend.

Well going out with her is gonna make it awkward especially if it's been merely a few days. Just give it some time and maybe it won't be near as awkward being together. Keep spending time with her and you'll be fine before you know it!
