Yesterday my cat FINALLY had 6 kittens. I was planning to bring her with me out of town over night this weekend but now that she had the kittens, can I bring them with me overnight? I would keep them in a safe room out of the way. I dont know if it would cause any problems if I bring her...

Depending on how long you are going to be gone cant you just put plenty of food down and mabye have a friend stop by? it is not really a good idea so soon and is this a first litter then if so she could be kinda fininky... Unless you want to chance bottle feeding 6 kittens I would leave them be if possiable.
You would do better to leave them at home. When the kittens are this tiny, the mother cat is really concerned about their safety and keeping them in what she considers to be a safe spot. If you pile them all into a carrier and get into a car, that short-circuits everything she's trying to do.
Some things you can do:
1) Leave enough food and water out for the mother cat, and leave her a clean litterbox (of course) while you're gone. This would be great if it'll only be one night. She'll make sure the kittens are fine.
2) Have a friend "cat-sit" for you. You could have the friend stay at your place or just drop in once or twice a day to make sure Mama Cat has fresh food and water, clean litter, etc. Make sure you tell the friend the whole scoop (she has brand-new kittens, please don't disturb the babies, later you can come over and see them, and so on). This would be a good idea if you're going to be gone more than one night.
Good luck and congratulations on the new arrivals!
it really isn't a good idea to bring the cat and her kittens out when she just had them it will be to much for the mom and her kittens if they were older it have been okay
thank you
Please call a vet and ask them. Please be safe with your cats. I know that right after a human has a baby, she is not supposed to sit for long periods of time in a car. In a pet carrier, she would not be able to move around much and the anxiety of being in a new place will be hard on her also.
I think it would be a good idea because it would upset the mother way to much. She should be left alone at least for a few days to recover. Leave her at home but have someone check up on her.
Call your vet but if it were me I would not bring here. Can't you change your plans? You are only going to be gone overnight anyways
It seems like that might cause a little too much stress on the new momma and babies. If you left her home with plenty of food or water she would do fine.
Hello there, Please heed what others are saying it is not a good idea with a new mum and babies to be moved yet, as they need to be in a safe environ and if moved may stress all concerned.
Best wishes
