Hello Everyone,
In need of desperate help. I am currently in the US Army. My wife is from the Philippines. We have had trouble getting her paperwork done. So she is still stuck in the Philippines. I just was told are Block Leave dates before we go t Iraq in Oct. is 1 Sept. - 17 Sept. Trying to look for cheap tickets and the cheapest I can find are for about 1,200 to 1,300 dollars and I am kind of strapped on cash because of doing my wifes paperwork to get her stateside. If you can pass this around so someone might see it knowing how to get a cheaper ticket I would really appericate it. Thanks for your time, help and consideration.
Todd

Hi Todd,
I would suggest that you ask your wife to contact a travel agent of her choice since it is expensive to book directly with an airline. By using a travel agent she can scout around for the best rate available...Usually its thos travel agent in China town area in Binondo that provide really good rates as they have block bookings with airlines...
hope it helps..good luck
Hi Todd,I'm a Filipina married to American. I can have a personal friend working in a travel agency in Phil to help you out and if you are interested to get a ticket for your wife from Phil, What dates do you want for the ticket? I can try to ask for you if you want? Give me the date details and preferable airlines you want, I will hook you up the best I can. Ok? Hope I can be of help!

I know that EVA (taiwan airlines) fly to Seattle for less than 500 bucks if booked earlier because my frend did that trip.
if the visa problem its fixed, there are daily advertisements in thelocal papars that sell dirt cheap tickets. ask you wife to buy The Bulletin.
purchase your tickets thru eva air with their advance purchase promotional fare which should be purchased before august 20, 2006. one way is 380 dollars and round trip is 650 dollars.
Try www.expedia.com, www.orbitz.com, or got to Yahoo! Travel and search there. Good luck.
ask her to go and try china airlines or eva air...their the cheapest.
