As a pastor for over 30 years, I would say you are correct.
Gal 5:1 "For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage." The opposite of the law is freedom in Christ. The opposite of the Gospel is the bondage of the law we can't keep on our own strength.
And yes, 3 things....you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind, and with all your strength.
The last one can be explained with this bible verse: He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Luke 10:27
