Chef lunch hours query?
I work in as a chef and I was wondering if it is normal to not have any breaks from working from 10-4. If its quite I have time to get a bite to eat and fresh air but if its busy there is no time for breaks, is this normal?

You should have at least a 15 minute break for a 6 hour shift.
completely normal, this type of job is not for normal people if you want to take it seriously and become a great chef. Places i have worked are the same, i sometimes work from 9am-12 at night without a break and thats the way it is. Also eat while you work, of course in sanitary situations only, you need to be committed to this type of work if its what you want to do if you ask or want to take lots of breaks i suggest you look for another type of job.
