I'm looking for a way to get to Nevada from Kansas city. i don't have the money for airfare, I don't have a car, I can't bike that far, and buses scare me, plus I'm 19. I'm looking for an easy cheap way of getting out. I thought maybe a craigslist post might get me somewhere. I'm not too sure of hitchhiking, and I'm not going to hop a train. and I carry a .357 pellet revolver that my dad gave to a few years back just about everywhere, that's why I wont ride buses. I cant take it with me to protect myself against attacks. It's concealed, I keep in either on my ankle or inside my belt. Police have told me it's ok as long as I show to magazine and co2. they usually tell me to be careful with it.

Any tips on traveling?
