I will be traveling about 5 in a car for Thanksgiving. I want to make a cheesecake and it tastes better on the second or third day.
Do you think it will hold up for the trip? What would be the best way to pack it?
Thanks in advance.

I would wrap it well with plastic and put ice packs beneath it and put it in a container of some sort and it should be just fine.
Have fun!
Jen, a five hour road trip should be fine, as long as the cheesecake is securely packed, in an ice box, I would surround it with ice bottom and sides. By the way watch the pot holes.
Im guessing you meant 5 hours? and yes it will. Just put it in a cooler with some ice packs, and make sure the cheesecake is COMPLETELY sealed in a container.
I would suggest that you keep it in the freezer a bit to get it nice and hard, but not too frozen, that way it will warm up by the time you get to your destination. I not sure about the packing. I am trying work on some peach dessert and not sure when to make it or bring the ingredients from New York to Pennsylvania and make it there.
Put it in a freezer for a while or get a small little cooler and put it on ice.
I would eat it by the time it gets there
