I have a 2 month old, and I go to school. I have always, up to this point, had backup bottles of breastmilk ready when and if i needed them. While I'm at school my mom watches the baby. I either pump or breastfeed every 3 hours usually. This past week for some reason I have been producing less and less milk. I was supposed to go to school today, but I had no bottles for my mom to feed her with, so I stayed home. I seem to have just enough milk to feed her at the time she is hungry, about 4oz, no extra. I would usually have 4-5 extra bottles with about 3-5 oz of milk in each in the fridge as backup. Now im pumping and breastfeeding about 2.5 oz each time. She is getting enough, but i have none for when im not around. Is there a way I can produce more breastmilk?
Update:Ive heard of the Fenugreek, I can get that at Walgreen's right? And where can I find the mothers milk tea?

Try taking some fenugreek or drinking "mother's milk" tea. Make sure you're getting enough calories. You need as many calories a day as you did when pregnant.
Kudos for breastfeeding and good luck!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Walgreen's carries fenugreek. They might even have Mother's Milk. It's in the tea aisle. I got both things at Walmart.
Yes definately make sure you get up at night to pump, i think that was the mistake i made but luckily was still able to bf for 8 months. and if you start supplementing with formula make sure you still pump every few hours. make sure you are drinking plenty of water and eating healthy, a lot of people go on diets to lose the baby weight and it ends up hurting their milk supply, so if you're doing that then stop. I also thought that the 'mothers milk' tea helped me. the taste of it takes a little getting used to but add some honey and drink a few glasses a day! and some moms just dont make a lot of milk, and theres nothing you can do about it, that's nature! just be glad that you were able to bf for a little while anyways!
You could maybe set your alarm for during the night to add an extra pumping session to help build your supply
It's hard work breastfeeding so the fact youre doing that, pumping and school shows you're dedicated to your baby an education
Keep it up, it's nice to see a young mum really trying.
You could also contact a lactation consultant from your maternity hospital, they'd be able to give you some specialist advice
Make sure to stick with pumping every 2 to 3 hours. Herbs have helped my supply a lot. Try Breastea from http://www.breastea.com/ and use daily.
