so yeah this guy i know is a total jerk around me he even told me to "die and burn in hell" (over the phone) (i didnt call him i was calling my friend to tell her happy birthday and er bro answered who is the jerks friend) because i forgot to tell her happy bday the first time i called her.
he is just a jerk to me he even says he hate me like ALL the time.
But............................ I kinda like him. ANd..... everyone says the reason he does this is cuz he likes me!! is that true from wat i say cuz i doubt it.
Update:we have known each other for like 5 yearshe talks to me sometimes but not alot. i see him alot though. mostly in the summer since he goes to a boarding school (its all guys). but at the start of the summer he will flirt w/ me and ask about to my friends n stuff. then by the middle of the summer he is a total asshole.

Hello Cool, I know what your feeling right now because I had that kind of feeling before. Well, have you ever heard the saying that 'the more you hate,the more you like'. That is a good reason for that, because the reason is its true. Try talking to your friend about your problem and if you cant, then try to tell someone that your really close to. Also, try telling him right in his face or even on the phone that you like him but you are a total jerk face. It will help. Guess what?!?! The guy that used to be like a jerk face actually became my boyfriend. We've been together for 4 years already and I'm about to get married.
Honestly, i thought being mean to a girl was elementary school courtship. To "die and burn in hell" seems like taking it a bit far, try doing it to him, if he responds negatively and actually seems hurt, he may have feelings for you, and will stop doing that to you, and maybe just ask you out on a 'normal' date
if he's being mean like that I'd be on the weary side to make sure he's not abusive, abusive being probably more verbal than physical if anything at all. There are nice guys out there that would never say things like that - I suggest you keep eyes open :)
well the fact that you can see past all the bad stuff may mean you like him more than you realize

No guy that is worth your time would tell you mean things like that. If you enjoy being treated like garbage go for it. If not, my advice is to stay away from the f*cker.
Go with your gut instincts. If he's being a complete jackass to you, tell him to screw off, he's not going to get anywhere with you or anyone else in his sorry life. Don't listen to anyone else, unless you can get a definite answer directly from him.
I would stay away from him. If he does not like you and finds out that you like him, he might try a play a prank on you. If he does like you and is rude to you, he is a nut. You deserve better.
If he sees that you respond positively to his immature ways he will continue to abuse you. Enough with the boyz. Go for a real man.
