Windows 8 comes with some new gesture controls. The one your triggering is the app switching gesture and it happens when you swipe from the left side of the trackpad to the center. Here's how to disable it.
Windows key + I → Change PC settings → General → Turn off "When I swipe from the left edge, switch directly to my most recent app."
You might also be interested in learning the other gestures so they don't catch you off guard.
Go to the three lines at the top right corner Click settings At the bottom in blue you'll see a link called "show advanced settings" click that scroll to the bottom and click reset browser settings I did this and cleared my history and it got rid of delta search
