it would be easier to take it to a shop and have them take it off
but if you want to do it yourself take a chisel and hammer to get the bead broken from the rim once you do that take a couple of pry bar and start on one side of the tire pry that part off and just keep working your way around the bead til its off it can be a lot of work
Jeff has the right answer...just be careful not to damage the rim with the chisel if it's an alloy wheel. Also make sure you don't mar the surface where the bead seals.
well with out a tire hammer you can try a bumper jack or a wedge and drive it down... be easier to have it fix at a shop when a tire is blown out its hard to change on the tire changer with the right tools i do it everyday for 30 yrs or so.... you can buy the hammer and tire bars about any auto parts store.... really i can break one down and change it about as fast as one can on the tire changer.... i do road side service.. you any need a nac for it
