I currently work for the nhs and use my car for work, i passed my test and got my car 2 years and 8 months ago. I have recently found out that I have not been paid the correct travel allowance. I am currently getting public transport rate of 23p per mile when it should be 44p per mile and £60 per month essential car users allowance even though every month I put my travel claim in and it has my car details on it.

They state they will not back date me as I did not complete the releveant forms when I passed which I know I did they obviously lost them.

Where do I stand?

I first asked 6 weeks agao and they are still dragging this on.
