I have Anus, Ginger, Cinnamon stick, salt, knuckle bone, Onion, sugar, and Whole Glove.
I boil the bone for 5 mins then dump water, then boil it again for a while, then i add all the ingredients. It looks right, but when i taste it. it taste pretty PLAIN. just like water with some of the stuff added. im sure i add enuff of the spices. but still taste plain.
is it suppost to taste plain in pot? and i just add some more spices after? if so let me know!!

Anus? Substitute the anus with a chuck roast.
Remember to add salt and some fish sauce before you taste.
If you don't taste any salt, add a little more.

How much bones to water?
The general ratio I've seen is 1 pound of bones to 1 quart of water. In addition to the bones, add about 1/2 pound of beef to 1 quart of water.
- Bone must be soaked for about 30m in warm water with a little salt. Cook for about 3-4hr (the longer the time, the sweeter the broth)
- Spice: ginger, onion, cinnamon, cardamon, star anise must be grilled and be put into the broth 1hr before finish cooking.
- For the sweet of broth: you can put into a sugarcane section. For the fat tase: you use beef fat.
-You can use salted shrimp, salted cuttle-fish in the broth.
-And don't forget green onion.
Cook the bone for a long time (several hours) over LOW heat and keep ALL the water. This is where the flavor is. If you're dumping part of the water you're losing flavor. If foam rises to the surface you can skim it off.
No anus in the soup, please.
