Easy Baked Bbq Pork Chops

EASY BBQ BAKE PORK CHOPS
10 pork chops
salt and pepper
honey barbecue sauce
one large onion finely chopped, water, large pan for baking.
Put about one inch of water in bottom of 13x9 pan, add a layer of chopped onion in water, then salt and pepper pork chops on both sizes. Place pork chops on top of onion, then add a few onions on top of pork chops. Add water to cover.
Bake at 450°F about 1 hour. When nearly done, remove from oven and pour honey barbecue sauce over meat evenly. Return to oven for about 3-5 minutes on broil or long enough to brown barbecue sauce.
Serves 8-10 people.
I know it sounds totally weird but it is lovely and you can use both type of pork chops:
Sprinkle the chops with brown sugar (about 2 tablespoon per chop), add some ketchup (about 3 TS per chop) and cover with tomato juice. Cook in the oven until the meat is well cooked. You can then add some thickening granules to make the sauce thicker.
It will give you sweet pork chops. I must admit I'm not a fan of pork chop because of their texture so I often make this recipe with chicken.
You could broil the pork chops and then baste with bbq sauce. Cook each side about 5 minutes, then baste with bbq sauce and cook each side 2 minutes. Season first with salt & pepper and let rest 20 minutes at room temperature before broiling. I prefer a broiled or grilled chop when using bbq sauce. This is just another option I suggest you try!
Unless you've been hiding under a rock for the last couple years, I'm sure you've heard of the Paleo Diet. Read here https://tr.im/XD1bk
I hate to even call it a diet, because it's really just the real way that humans have eaten for almost 1.9 Million years, as opposed to the modern-day processed food diet full of grains, sugars, and processed vegetable oils.
