It depends what kind of automatic electric it is...

Electric will obviously be better if there are so many people, and also there is the question of what game you are playing and what the rules are. Shot once? Shot till you run away?

If it is the latter, get an automatic one, if you are playing that once you get shot once you're out, then get the shotgun, it will probably be better for aiming, sneaking around, and getting off that one shot.

Ok, the Pros to the shotgun are that they hold more bbs, they don't take batteries, and it may come with a few accessories. Cons are that it is slower to load and shoot. You will get destroyed if people are plastering you with bb's and you are trying to cok the thing, they are big and harder to conseal.

Pros to the pistol are that you can get a lot more rounds off at once and that it is much smaller and easier to run around and hide with.

Honestly, I just got this pistol on this site a few weeks ago, and it is rediculously sweet. It has single fire, and automatic modes, I have only charged the battery once and it is still going strong. (it comes with the rechargable battery). Hope that helps, but in the long run, i definately suggest getting a elctric auto firing gun. That AK47 is nice cause it holds like 50 rounds in the clip so you don't have to reload very often. That is really nice in battle to have enough ammo so you can spend time shooting instead of getting shot while you reload...

How and ever, I've a fair idea of the type of gun you're on about and I'd recommend the shotgun. The spring shotties in these packages are usually good for about 220fps with .2g ammo and are reasonably accurate. Any electric gun which would cost the same would be an LPEG (low powered electric gun) and pretty much worthless. These things are woefully underpowered and wildly inaccurate. Their innards are of very poor quality and won't last terribly long.

Go with the automatic electric. They will shoot as much as you have in there at one time. I love mine and I dont like having to push back the other one everytime I use it. Hope you enjoy whichever one u pick. Dont for get about paintball guns! They are so freekin awesome!
