I have a 2004 Jeep Libert. How can i find out if i have the Track Loc option? If i were to jack up the rear end of the jeep and spin the tires, with the track loc would they spin the same way or would they still spin the opposite way like an open differential? Thanks for the info. Also, where can i get a Track Loc for a cheap price? Or even where can i get a locker for a good price such as the Powertrax No Slip Locker?

If you have a Track lock they will spin the same direction.. A track lock is a mild clutch type traction control and it will slip if stressed. The new electric lockers that comes in the new Chevy trucks really locks when needed. They probably make one for the Jeep rear end but you are probably looking at 1500 to 2000 installed per axle.
GO TO THE DEALER FOR ALL THIS STUFF..he will answer your questions and tell you what you do have and what you may put on--but it will cost a lot to do if you want to add what you mention.
