splash out a party on some close friends and if u really want it to be memorable spend it on some kids education or any other charity,belive me it gives the satisfaction.

Vehicles (come as your favourite form of transport - blimps allowed!)

Backwards (dress, walk and speak backwards - or should I say "sdrawkcab")

Painting (Finger-paint your house in rainbow colours of non-washable paint. Paint your dog too)

A virtual party (no face-to-face contact needed - feel free to have a bad hair day and not become a social outcast - although too many of these "virtual parties" will most likely result in this anyway)

Hide-and-seek (great for "forgetting" the people you didn't really want to invite but felt you had to)

Recycling party (dress in recyclable materials, and let the best dressed take out your recycling for you - what a treat! No plastics allowed)

However, if none of these take your fancy you could always just spend your birthday building a shrine to a certain friend of yours...
