My sincerest condolences to you for the loss of your friends. It may take a long, long time for you to heal from this loss. I completely understand your anger at the gunman, Cho Seung-hui. What he did was carnage beyond imagination.
However, I do hope that after a time you will be able to let go of that anger because it is erosive to the spirit. It was anger that consumed Cho, too. He was unwilling to forgive or to get psychological help. His anger was extreme. But all anger is erosive. It raises the blood pressure and does not allow the body to relax.
Emotionally, it is nearly impossible to process such a horrible event. Sometimes people react in stages such as denial, anger, humor and blaming. This is a normal chain of reaction to tragedy towards the acceptance of the event.
The Virginia Tech massacre was a horrible, horrible tragedy but in time, it will fade from public view. Only those who have suffered a personal loss will be faced with the struggle to overcome their grief and restructure their life. The survivors will suffer the tremendous loss very intently for a period of time and as they struggle to cope with their grief they will resolve it in many different ways but it will never go away, there will be triggers that bring it all back again in vivid detail.
After the reports have been filed, the investigations have been completed and the recommendations made, people will calm down and feel secure, then complacent. The ones who have suffered personal loss, however, will struggle with their grief.
Most of the people in the self-help group Parents of Murdered Children have strong feelings about this issue as well as Citizens against Homicide. (Members of both national groups have suffered the loss of a loved one to homicide) Compassionate Friends is also a self-help group however it is for parents who have lost a child to any cause homicide, accidental death or disease.
when you will be on the other side (cho's side) i want to hear you say the he sucks.
your "innocent" friends who enjoy teasing, spiting and beating cho are victims in the story, right?
people who enjoy make cho for ALOT of YEARS, DAILY and i say it again !!DAILY!! suffer and had life worse than what you or most of the people will EVER had are great people?
those who cho life be worse than almost anything you can think of are victims???
i know whats its like to be on the other side, the side who suffer, and believe me its no picnic.
so what, so you knew some of them, it doesnt mean they are saints!
as a person who truly understand, i know he did the right thing.
its not a massacre each bullet was aimed to those who deserve it, those who stayed alive had nothing to worry because they didnt had any danger on them.
more than 150 bullets used for 32 victims, it say something dont you think ?
oh no, booohoooo you lost your friends, now you are so sad and deprest ..... life is so tough, your boyfriend left you, boooohooo.
have you ever wondered what cho feels.
stop with all the physochology ****, if you want to know the real truth all you need to do is ask people like us, you will be amazed what kind of horrors a man can get in life (luckily i didnt get such horrible abuse he got but mine wasnt a walk in the park). there is a chance that you may even cry if you hear everything we feel and get daily for years.
you are soooooooooooooooooooo lucky to have your kind of life and you should know it, dont take it for granted.
I think what he did was sick disgusting and cruel. Nobody but god has the right to take life away. But this sick fool just came and crushed the hopes of many bright people aspiring for the future. But we shouldnt focus so much on the killer. We should celebrate the wonderful lives these people led. In the end what is done is done and we can only mourn.
I not often imagine that both of them knew one yet another, or that Chris Benoit theory that Cho's movements were cool. that is an unlucky shown reality that each 12 months a lot of adult males bypass berserk for some reason and wipe out their finished kinfolk. Chris Benoit merely occurs to be nicely regular, and considering that of this this crime has been publicized. i imagine that if he wanted to kill himself, then so be it, yet he did not ought to kill his spouse and youngster, too.
Wow. Anger never healed hurt, people. Only forgiveness and love do. I know, easy for me to talk because I didn't loose anyone. Even if I did, I would certainly TRY to forgive. Hatred, judgement, and anger are not of God, they themselves are evil. So the devil has you all. Love is what Christ taught - turn the other cheek - not spite, anger and revenge. That is what the Klingons taught.
yes he does suck and deserves to be in hell along with all the people that refused to help him through his mental problem because it was inconvenient. The students didnt deserve that.

I'm so sorry you lost your friends. It was a terrible tragedy and such a waste of lives. So sorry.
Cho does nothing because he is dead. focus your energy where it can do some good.
I will agree that he did suck. My sympathies on the loss of your friends. :(
