I don't go there but I do live really close to it, and have checked it out many times. I do know that it is a good campus. Since it is in San Francisco, you have this wonderful city as your playground, yet the campus is far enough away from downtown so you still feel like you are going to school. The school has a great reputation with its medical department, so I would like it filters into pharmacology. If you are thinking about going out of state and an alternative, The University Of TX has a comparable and incredible department for what you want to chose. But, I say thumbs up on UCSF.

ucsf has a great reputation. keep in mind that this is a graduate school so one of the requirements for admissions would be a 4-yr degree from a college. the programs offered are all health science-related, including dentistry. the school is affliated with a number of hospitals in sf, so you should get a very well-rounded education there.
