Ah sweetie, I lost two dogs this summer and am still coping, I am so very sorry for your loss, you will eventually feel better but for now cry your eyes out get mad at the whole world and let your grief come out any way you can, it helps a lot in the long run. Just don't do anything foolish, but break something holler and scream, I went nuts for a month after I lost both dogs, I still keep their bedroom door closed but no this, that only time will make it so you will be able to cope, I really feel for you, I know your pain, what a horrible thing to have happen to you.
That is so sad. You know my dog got ran over once and I was about 6 years old. I cried for days and days. But then my mom brought home the cutest, sweetest little puppy and I still have him till this day. A dog is a person's bestest bud and that is exactly what my dog is to me. Hope you feel better and I am sorry about your doggy.
I'm so sorry about your dog. It's never easy to lose a pet. I had two dogs that both lived to 15 yrs old...they were toys and stayed indoors all the time. To make it easy for us to cope we had taken so many pics of them that we put them in frames , actually a double frame, one on each side in the living room where we can see them always. You never forget them but you have to go on. You mourn if you need to and then get on with your life.
I'm soooo sorry!! Well, as hard as it is, you have to bury your doggie. :( Then, go get some ice cream or something and watch movies or tv to keep yourself distracted. After doing that for awhile, find someone to talk to. Remember all the good times you and your dog went through!
i am soooo sorry for ur loss. here is a poem that helps me. just this side of heaven is a place called rainboe bridge. when an animal dies that has been especially close to someonehere, that pet goes to rainbow bridge. there are meadows and hills and strems for them to run and play toghter. there is plenty of food, water, and sunshine and they are warm and comfortable. any animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just the way we remember them in our dream of days and times gone by. they are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them; someone who had to be left behind. then one day, one of them suddenly stops and looks into the distance. his bright eyes are intent, his eager body begins to quiver. suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carring him faster and faster. he has seen you, and when you and your pet finally meet, you cling toghter in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. the happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands caress his beloved head and you look once more into his trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart. then you cross the rainbow bridge together. hope this helps to ease your pain

I am so sorry to hear of your loss ....
I will lend you for awhile...
I will lend to you for awhile
a puppy, God said,
For you to love him while he lives
and to mourn for him when he is gone.
Maybe for twelve or fourteen years,
or maybe for two or three
But will you, till I call him back
take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you
and (should his stay be brief)
you'll always have his memories
as solace for your grief.
I cannot promise that he will stay,
since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught below
I want this pup to learn.
I've looked the whole world over
in search of teachers true
And from the folk that crowd life's land
I have chosen you.
Now will you give him all your love
Nor think the labour vain
Nor hate me when I come to take my pup back again.
I fancied that I heard them say
For all the joys this pup will bring,
the risk of grief you'll run.
Will you shelter him with tenderness
Will you love him while you may
And for the happiness you'll know forever grateful stay.
But should I call him back
much sooner than you've planned
Please brave the bitter grief that comes
and try to understand.
If, by your love, you've managed
my wishes to achieve,
In memory of him that you've loved,
cherish every moment with your faithful bundle,
and know he loved you too.
