I did not like it.
It is a dance to an old Lifehouse song that came out a while back. I don't understand how this can 'change' someone's life. It does not further prove or give any insight as to whether a God exists. It does show someone trying to resolve conflict but conflict resolution does not prove the existence of God... for all we know people who delude themselves into thinking they need God to solve their problems are just deluding themselves via some form of the placebo effect.
I am sorry I don't feel the same way about it as you but I respect the fact that you have your own opinion and I hope others can respect mine.
Ok...I don't normally follow these links but I watched to see what you were getting at. At first I thought it was a bit strange until I got the point...the struggle to be united with Christ. The emotion of the music and crowds reaction was very powerful..it was very well acted out.
The emotional tie is not enough though...there has to be a unity of behaviour with bible principles and sadly even among professed Christians that fact is often forgotten.
I think it wouldn't load when I tried to watch...
EDIT: Got it working. Hold the phone! All the good guys are white, and the bad guys... not so much? RACIST. And how often does a girl get her @$$ kicked for being a Christian in this country? You know more Christians abuse drugs, cut themselves, or commit suicide than other Americans? Just by virtue of the fact that 85% of Americans are Christian? What a load.
This is an excellent video.
Thank you for sharing it.
We get to know God, but sometimes we get bound by the cords of sin. It is not that the Holy Spirit is not with us, but our own sins separate us from him.
Once we allow God's Holy Spirit full control of our lives the spirits of lusts, of suicide & death, of control through alcohol & drugs, of depression and all other spirits will have to depart. For where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.
I like this part when
these evil spirits flung her to the ground and they probably thought "yes" they have conquered. But on the ground she fell to her knees and called to God.
In came God's Holy Spirit and there's a struggle in prayer between God and tempting spirits. She got her breakthrough, God heard her prayers, and in the light of his presence all evil spirits have to succumb to the God that made them and flee. Once more she enjoys unity with God, once more God demonstrates his love for us all.
He brushes her off, (cleanses her sin) and leads her into the paths of righteousness for his name sake.
I'm glad it changed your life
It gives me hope too
and reminds me that there is a God that will restore my soul and be with me always.
It's kinda good, send it in to Disney.
Yet I don't know how and why some people stick emotional things with gawd and automatically "feel" it's true, and how automatically God is real, on no statistical evidence.
God only exists in the caves of ignorance.
Honestly, my first impression was that it was offensively racist.
My second impression was that while the no-gooders who were harassing her weren't exactly upstanding citizens, they at least were real people. Jesus is all in your head. Even if you're a believer, you relationship to him is completely inside of you. He never actually knocks over anyone who is trying to hurt you.
Ah I love this skit a great deal. My home church did a reenactment of it for a Halloween outreach.

It's brought me to tears a couple times.
I found it pretty boring and as I am an atheist meaningless, so my only comment on it is: meh.
