Skyrim campaign trouble?
I just bought skyrim, and I'm on the part where u have to talk to the blacksmith in that river place. And then I stole a helmet and a shield. After that i saved the game. Then for some reason I had to talk to alvar in his house. But when I went inside him and his wife were trying to kill me. So what I'm supposed to take off the bounty, or something. Please help

I dont think there are guards until you get the whiterun guards to go there, so im not sure if you can get rid of the bounty yet, and this sounds like you are at the beginning still so why not just restart?
Run outside and sheathe your weapon near a guard and then pay the fine. After that all will be good
