I have a 42" RCA LCD TV that is approx. 3 years old. The sound has been occasionally going out, but turning the power off then back on solved the problem. However, yesterday, the sound basically went out for good. I turn the volume up all the way, and can only hear distorted low sound. Then today, I attempted to connect my Wii to the AV1, and then AV2 connections, and was getting an unusable video signal sign for both. I connected my Wii successfully to another TV, so the Wii is not the problem. My question is, then, is my TV shot, or can it be repaired? And is it going to cost so much to repair that I should just buy a new one? Thank you for your response.
