potty training?
my son is 17 months and whenever he goes to the bathroom he starts pulling at his diaper do you think i should start to potty train him or is it to early?

Thats definetly a sign that he is ready. If you can put him on the potty once an hour while he is awake for one week, that should be enough for him to figure it out. My daughter is 15 months and ready. I was potty trained at 13 months, so it just depends on the child. But if hes pullin at his diaper when he potties, hes aware of doing it and ready for you to step in and teach him the rest.
Sounds ready to me. I potty trained both of my daughters by about 19 months. And it was quick. I put a potty out in the livingroom where they could get to it if they needed it. Then I let them be totally naked. You may get a few accidents, but it goes really quick this way. Don't get frustrated if he decides against it. You have plenty of time to get the job done. Regardless of when we want it done, the child makes the decision. Don't push it. If it ends up that he is not interested, then wait a month and try again. Good luck!
Oh wow..I would so start potty training him. Apprently he is ready, at least it sounds like he is.

Depends on the child but I will tell you my oldest did the same thing at about the same age so I started training him. It was a nightmare that went on for months. With the next two I waited til they were about three and they practically trained themselves.
Start as soon as possible...you should start the process early. When he wakes up take him to the bathroom and give him something to congradulate him...then he will want to go one the poddy.And identify the words and all with it. I bought my nephew all the kandoo prducts it came with stickers to give them wipes and every thing. The early the better
it's never to early to start, i started potty training my son at 15 months he would say pee pee when he had to go
YES SLOWLY START TO TAKE HIM TO POTTY AND TELL HIM SO HE KNOWS WHAT YOU WANT HIM TO DO. HAVE DAD TAKE HIM TOO WHEN HE GOES SO HE CAN SEE HOW BIG BOYS GO TO THE POTTY AND WHEN HES READY GO BUY HIM SOME UNDIES LET HIM PCIK EM OUT
u can go ahead and introduce him to the potty. it would help but if he doesnt get it right away it will be okay because boys r harder to train then girls.
