Can anyone else answer my question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsrU2...
Here's basically what I'm asking:
I was looking at the Pokemon available in Black/White 2 here http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/game/black-white-2 and I saw there weren't really many pokemon that I liked. And a lot just look stupid (really? An ice cream cone pokemon?).
I do care somewhat about usefulness as well, which is why I was pretty disappointed to see that my favorite bird pokemon that can let me use fly, Staraptor, isn't on the list...So there's really no Staraptor?
I did see Braviary, which made my favorite list, but I saw he's only White and he's not really a top favorite for me. There's also no Luxray which I found disappointing...And not many first or second gens pokemon..I was glad to see Umbreon, Arcanine, Carracosta, Heracross, Aggron, and Haxorus, but all the other pokemon I see I could really care less about. A few more aren't bad but most look kind of dumb (I guess that's not all bad since I'll get to defeat them?).
So I REALLY can't catch a Starly on Black 2? I don't know what trading is like and I really don't want to trade with people anyways (I was never the type to trade cards with other people...I enjoyed seeing what I got from my own packs), so if that's an option, I most likely won't go through with it anyways...

Yes the bw2 pokedex contains 300+ Pokemon, reason being it is set 2 years after black/white so they came to a conclusion that they had migrated to other parts of unova and joined the unova dex. So pretty much any Pokemon you can find on bw2 you can also find in b/w
Truthfully opening with Diamond/Pearl/Platinum the pokemon games appear to were trying to come to be less difficult, and/or more tutorial, as in the event that they advertising and marketing toward the kids who've not ever played the sport earlier than. With Black/White it received even worse with how a lot tutorial/explaining there's in it. I did not intellect the brand new pokemon an excessive amount of, all you fairly want is 3, however i not ever even completed it rationale it just bored me from being boring, even though it was once new and different.
Honestly starting with Diamond/Pearl/Platinum the pokemon games seem to have been attempting to become easier, and/or more tutorial, as if they marketing towards the children who've never played the game before. With Black/White it got even worse with how much tutorial/explaining there is in it. I didn't mind the new pokemon too much, all you really need is 3, but i never even finished it cause it just bored me from being boring, even though it was new and different.
Sadly, you ant.
