I've recently learned how to use Photoshop in school. I'd love to have it on my laptop at home, but I just don't want to pay for it. So, I'm using GIMP 2.
I just have one question. Is there an equivalent to the clone/pattern stamp tools (Photoshop) in GIMP 2? How do you do that?

Adobe has actually started releasing their Creative Suite CS2 for free now. It is much better then GIMP.
However, if you're using updated operating system, then it might now work. Still, it's worth a try:

Open the GIMP, click on the Help TAB, and look up Cloning Tool. Still stuck?
