So i just started training myself to run a mile and a half two days ago and i tried running again today but wow my legs are SOOOOOOO sore!! I can't even walk down a flight of stairs like a normal person right now.. is there a quick way to heal my leg muscles so i can start training again or do i just have to toughen up and bare it?
Update:oh trust me, im not enjoying the run or the training lol it's required for a job

Stretching is of course wonderful but what your legs need is recovery. Do some light swimming and soak your legs in an ice bath for soothing.
Icy hot is god given as well.

stretch after you run.
do like every leg stretch you can think of for like....10 minutes.
but i dont think theres any way u can just magically have them not hurt right now. but even though they hurt, keep running. they will hurt for the first few minutes but ur legs will kick in after a few minutes and u should be fine.
Well to prevent this from happening again.. stretch! a lot! before and after running! :D
