I will be in A School starting this upcoming late Jan- July/Aug. I will be at DINFOS for the rate of MC.
I have heard different travel radiuses for different A Schools for Overnight Liberty (when phased up)- ranging from 50 miles to 300 Miles.
I am just wondering if anybody knows what the travel radius is for DINFOS, or if there is a generalized travel radius.
Thank you!!

The travel radius is 300 miles without a pass, anything further than that, you will need a pass signed by the commander, a TRIPS, LES and POV Inspection if you are driving. Good luck with everything. I have a month and a half left of school and cannot wait to graduate!
The radius is set by the command, but typically, 50 miles.
EX: When I was stationed at Little Creek, VA, it was 75-100 miles. But when I went TAD to Jacksonville, FL, it was 50 miles.
BTW, you can go outside of the set radius, if you want. But there will be consequences, if you are caught, especially, while you are at A School (you can get into an accident while outside of the radius, late for muster etc...).
Different school locations have different distance. Different units at the same location will sometimes have different authorized distances. You will have to wait until you get there to find out.
Doesn't matter, just be back on time.
