I took mine out at about the 4th month. I've had mine for about 6 years so I know it'll do fine without closing up. I just didn't want it getting uncomfortable or stretched or anything...just a personal choice. My best friend wore a ring (not a barbell) for her entire pregnancy, so it can be done! :) Good luck!

I'm 26.5 weeks pregnant and my navel ring just started bugging me. I've ordered one of the ones you talked about, but I'm waiting for it to come (got it on e-bay). So I don't know yet how it'll work, but I don't see it being bad. I still want to have my hole afterwards so the thought of taking it out completely doesn't interest me. I know some people who've left it in their entire pregnancy and were fine. My ring is just feeling tight.

Mine popped off at about 6-7 months of pregnancy. But depending on how your belly grows you could keep it longer

i took mine out while pregnant with my 1st..cant remember exactly when..and now i have a bad scar from it. didnt hear about those flexible rings til after the fact..crappy for me. look it up on google. my dr said they're safe. good luck to you!

i took mine out almost a year before i got pregnant and now that im 38 weeks prego, my belly button has passed the point of poppin out and is now flat and you can def. see the scar from when i had mine pierced. not that cute i must add.

i took mine out but the hole never closed up either and i only had it for 9 months before getting prego

my sister didnt take hers out until she started to get pretty big( not sure how far she actually was) and she stretched her hole out and mess up her piercing so dont wait too long or like you said get one FOR pregnancy
