This is the second time in a week that I've had this problem:
my computer starts acting sluggish, pages take forever to load, so I start my routine: SpybotSearch&Destroy, AVG,AdAware SE Personal on top of my Nortons Antivirus Scan. I do maintenance like defrags on my computer on an as needed basis as well.
Well, the Spybot has come up with 2 entries under the header
MyWay.MyWebSearch the last two times I ran it. I took care of it the last time, why is it back? What can I do? I am also getting some kind of error message on start up now (RUNDLL). HELP!!!
Update:I don't have Weatherbug OR Smiley Central..........:)
Update 3:I do not have limewire, bearshare, weatherbug or smiley central, thank you.

Download this www.superantispyware.com it works great.
MyWebSearch is in the Smiley Central for free emoticons and also in WeatherBug Weather program the Compaq preinstalls on their computers.
The reason it is back is because it has part of it in the hidden files on your computer . Spybot and other programs can scan the hidden files and restore points. Go to this windows site and an MS MVP walks you through the Proper removal procedure. She has you use AdAware SE but you can replace it with spybot. I recommend you uses her programs first. The use spybot if AdAware SE doesn't remove it.

Sounds like the mywebsearch is not being fully removed. Try running spybot in safe mode to remove. The rundll error is usually a left over from a spyware scan. Look for the offending entry in the spybot advanced tools startup manager and remove it.
Get off of Bearshare, start using Limewire. Google instructions on how to remove them.
earth wind is right on the money.
It's difficult in this format here to completely assess what you have going on with your PC and what steps to take to clean it up. My web search is relatively easy to deal with, but there could be other issues you're not aware of. I would recommend you visit one of the free online tech help sites like earth wind recommended where folks who have experience in removing these entries can help you.
Two sites that I'm involved with:

Good luck.
sounds like you have an infection (trojan horse, virus, malware)
try searching the forums at

they have excellent resources and could even help you 1-1 if you request it. You'll find out that you need to provide HiJack This logs and follow their instructions carefully if it comes to that.
Check em out, and don't worry.
smiley central and weather bug delete immediately
