My life is such a mess

Can anyone help me with this distress?

I plead and beg to no avail

Just to stop feeling as though I am in hell.

I trap my feelings deep inside

for no particular reason, other than pride.

It's almost as if I speak a foreign language

I'd give anything to end this anguish.

What does it take for you to understand?

I'm in desperate need of a helping hand.

Is it too much for me to ask

for a friend who understands my past?

Used and abused, I lived each day

Now, I'm simply trying to find my way.

Can you help me pretty please?

Just so I may finally rest in peace.
