before practices make sure that you do your stretching so that the muscles and tissues don't get stressed out with the practice. after the practice see to it that when you arrive at home elevate you legs to allow back flow of the blood and to facilitate good blood circulation. after that when your legs are in pain and has sores try to apply hot compress. if you have a hot water bag at home then use it. if you do not have a hot water bag you can use a glass bottle for example the Gatorade glass bottle fill it up with hot water. HOT and not BOILING water. then wrap it around a face towel to prevent your skin from getting burn and apply it on the part of your leg that is in pain. in this way the underlying tissues and muscles would relax and the pain would suddenly be relieved.
That's because your not used to the practices, or it's because you don't stretch before and after practices. Try moving your head around a couple of times, stretch out you're legs and move around your arms and fingers, After that take a quick jog around the volleyball court, That should make you feel better. And don't worry if it hurts it'll do that for a couple of days, It means your legs are Developing muscles:)
Hope I Helped!
Ok dear, your leg it starts from your hip to your ankle ,now where does it hurt?
You did mention Volleyball I presume your ankle and knee and the sole of your feet.
If so put your feet in luke warm water mixed with rock salt up to your ankles and do a bit of Massage to your knee and calf and ankle, later dry the legs and wipe them clean and apply some IODEX ( a pain releavier) to the bruised area nad relax for some time that should give you good relife
Take ice baths after practice. Put ice in the tub and just lay there in a swim suit. You could also take a bath in epsom salt.(a shower will not work with epsom salt) It's good for relaxing muscles. If by any chance you can't do any of those I suggest getting a heating compress to put on your legs. If you can't do any of that then you're out of luck from me.
good luck
DON'T TAKE PILLS/ ignore what that other person said
yeah i play volleyball too, i know what you mean.ice your legs and stretch really good before you practice, and take some advil or ibuprofen after you practice if they still hurt and put like hot towels on them. stretch before you go to bed too.
you might have pull a muscle or over did it so just rest it and see what is next
