my laptop is givin trouble?
when i turn it on it a toshiba it comes up black screen with password on it put in the pasword it comes on then on the screen it says configurin updates 100% complete and then it starts shutting down why is this happening and how can i fix it thanks

The same thing happened to me. Your updates failed to install the first time, and now your data is corrupted so that it thinks you have not installed it every time. Backup your data from your HD, and reinstall your OS.
