Court costs are added to the ticket regardless of your plea, so there should be no additional costs. Call the court clerk to be sure.
If this ticket was from an accident, you may want to consider a plea of "no contest". A guilty plea, or a guilty finding if you plea not guilty, can be used against you in a lawsuit. A no contest plea can not.
Fines are statewide and fixed, and pleading guilty or not guilty will have NO bearing on your fine.
If you plead not guilty and are convicted, your fine will increase. But that's about it.
if you plead guilty, usually your sentence on whatever you have to do is lessened. if you plead not guilty, and it goes to trial, and they see you as guilty, the judge could take your liscense.
