If someone has never been baptized into any church or denomination, but has followed the Catholic faith, what is the process of being baptized into the Catholic church?
You would participate in a series of informal classes called the RCIA program. (I have taught this program for 20 years). At the end of the classes, you would be baptized, receive your first Holy Communion and the sacrament of Confirmation, and be formally accepted into God's Holy Church. Ask the priest at the church you are attending, when the program starts in your parish.
Hopefully someday Chris will be guided by the Holy Spirit to do the same. I am praying for him.
Even if the Protestant doctrine of justification by faith alone is correct, I don't see why that would keep Catholics out of heaven. Luther would have found that idea crazy, and I'm sure it never even occurred to him.
The Apostles' and the Nicene creeds specify what you need to believe to be saved, and both Catholics and mainline Protestants accept them.
There sure is a lot of ignorance among Protestants these days.
The RCIA program would seem to be the best answer.
Chris/ David whatever your name is I am praying that you convert to a Christian religion. It will help you get rid of all the hatred and bigotry locked up in your soul.
Chris/David whatever your name is Regarding works for salvation read James 2:14,17.
but you have to deal with bigots like chris who think catholics aren't christian while whatever church he goes to originated from the church jesus started (the catholic church)
PaulCyp is correct. You should take RCIA classes, just speak with the Bishop, Priest or Deacon after attending Weekday or Sunday Liturgy.
I don't know why people give him thumbs down for speaking the truth. I guess people are insecure about their own beliefs and have to persecute those who don't believe in what they do.
RCIA is what the process is called. It's a few free classes to educate you on Catholic teaching and make sure you really want to convert. Call your local parish and ask them about it. It's easy and, again, free.
Chris is a liar and a deceiver. He presents neither history nor Catholic teaching accurately - and does so knowingly. He also uses multiple accounts to thumbs up himself, thumbs down others, and "agree" with himself.

I'd suggest you start reading the Bible and study the links below.
You can turn from your sins and turn to Jesus and be saved today and be baptized this weekend without attending any classes.

If you call 1-888-NEED-HIM you can talk to someone on the phone about that decision this evening.
If you'd prefer to talk to me, you can do that too.
