weve all seen back to the future, but is it actually possible by physics to travel in time? and what would happen to you if say u went back in time and performed the grandfather paradox( killing your own grandfather thus you would have never been born).. would u simply dissapear?.. I think this example makes time travel impossible.. or doing that would simply destroy reality

Of course it's impossible. If you went back in time, then moved to a different place and remained there. When you came back to today you would have to be in 2 places at the same time.
Yes, Time Travel is possible ...
When we look at stars in the sky, it's said that we're actually looking into the past.

I wouldn't worry too much about the paradox theories, yet. That brings up other questions that we're not prepared to tackle ... If a time traveller went back to save Jesus from the cross, then He wouldn't have died for our sins.
Time travel is not forbidden by the laws of physics as we know them. It is however completely out of our range of posibility at the moment the energy to open a directed wormhole to a specific point in time and hold it open wide enough and long enough for a person to travel through it and not be crushed by the emense forces involved would take so much more energy than we can even dream of creating or accumulating at this moment. The figure outweighs by many orders of magnetude the sum of all the energy we as a civilization have produced in all of our known history.
as for the paradox... who knows all sorts of crazy things could happen. there are many schools of thought here, but no one can claim to know for sure. some say the whole time line would rewrite itself to compensate and you would be blinked out of existence, some say that as soon as you changed time periods you would create your own new time line and as long as you existed as a point of reference, nothing you could do would effect how you are now, although the future you left and tried to come back to would no longer exist. its really just a guessing game at this point :)

time travel does violate any laws of science
Sure, why just 24 hours ago, weren't you at yesterday?
Yes it is. Just think it and you can do anything.
