IBM laptop trouble type: 2623?
Here is the problem, i did not know that my mother had taken the battery out of my laptop and when i unpluged it from the wall it shut down, now every time i try to start it up nothing appears on the screen and the little light at the bottom of the screen that looks like a circle with a diagonal Z in the middle is lit up and nothing else happens. the laptop is a IBM thinkpad type: 2623. plaese help.

Take out the battery,unplug it from charger. then plug it all back in. If you little light is still on remove the cmos battery as well as the main battery.
