How does time travel work?
Update:100 years ago walking on the moon was a fantasy too ;)
If you can only go forward, then wouldn't that mean that once you get to the future you are stuck and can't return to your present?

It works in the FORWARD direction ONLY.
It is not possible. Time travel is a fantasy, not reality.
EDIT: Some fantasies will always be fantasies. Others are fantasy until they are proven of reality. Time travel is not one of them, sorry. Time is simply the measure of the motion or vibrations of energy. It does not have a direction in motion. It is energy and matter within the measure of time that has direction. Going forward has to do with physical movement and direction but time merely elapses as energy moves. We cannot change the measure of time back to where it was before nor sped it up to a future time. We will always come from the past, live within the present and move forward toward the future. :) Not everything the human mind can imagine is part of reality. That is simply a property of a very flexible vivid imagination that fuels creativity and invention.
i dont know, but everytime i lay down in my bed, i fall asleep and i wake up 8 hours into the future.
I think it is about forgetting.
