Time Traveling works by somehow altering time in a way where you can go back to past events (i.e. five minutes ago to a thousand years back) and/or future events (five minutes from now to a thousand years later). The problem is that time traveling is such a difficult concept to grasp since there are so many theories that pertains to time (i.e. time is made up by particles or time is part of a dimension).
The only sure way to time travel that scientists can agree on, is traveling at the speed of light. At that speed, everything around you would just seem to be standing still.
Currently, time traveling is not possible because of technology and mankind still not able to understand the phenomenon of it.
Of course, if you find a flux capacitor lying around, attach that to your car and go 88mph. That would get the job done.

In one direction only; forward.
