Whenever i did they stopped, usually when a girl tells a guy to stop they wont but when a boyfriend does they nine time out of ten do because they dont want trouble down the road.

OMG.like the same thing is happening to me right now!there r 2 guys,one is a totally ugly, loser and the other is a hot jerk, but i have a boyfriend!and the loser follows me around at school!im sick and tired or it!!!i keep giving him hints, like when he talks just dont listening and keep walking, or at dance class when he asks me to dance i ask my "guy friend" to dance with me, or just avoiding him.I understand that this is rude and kinda mean, but he has liked me for like a year!and i am dating his ex-friend.lol.anyway and the jerk is just focused on my boobs and my a**.and my boobs arent even that big!!!plus im 13 and in 9th grade and the jerk is 15 in 9th grade.so.....ya.lol.and neither one of them understand that im not going to EVER dump my boyfriend for them (well maybe the jerk, but only if it stops only paying attention to my breast)!Sometimes if im talking to him i just have to say "my eyes are up here, when you are talking to some one you look into there eyes".it makes me so mad!!!

anyway.....back to your problem.well yes you want to let him down softly, but you want to get your point across.therefore you must meet somewhere in the middle.so i suggest the next time he comes up to you and starts talking, after you get a conversation going, just say "hold on, there is something i need to ask.We are just friends....right?" and since you asked so suddenly he will most likely tell the truth.if he says something like "well.....ummmm...idk..." just stop him and say "we are just friends."say it with force but also in a nice tone.i hope i helped!!!sorry its so long!lol.and sorry idk how old you are, so im sure if this will help you.=) hope it does!
