I am on a visa in the US and planning a vacation to Hawaii. Do I need to clear immigration when I enter the US? Would it just be enough to carry my driver's license? Thanks in advance!!
Once you're in the US, you're good. Hawaii is a state of the USA. You do need identification, and a drivers license is good enough.
The only thing you need to fill out is the Hawaii Agricultural form, stating that you have/don't have any foreign plants or animals with you. Everybody (even when we locals come back home from the US mainland or overseas), have to fill out this form.
Once you've ENTERED the US, you are free to travel to any state. Hawaii is just another state and going from any other to the islands is no different than crossing the state line between New York and New Jersey. (except that Hawaii tends to smell better)
