Hi Guys :),
So I've been learning to play Matt Costa's song "Cold December" on the guitar. Unfortunately, I haven't found very many people posting the chords for this song and have had to stick with just one. Now, I am a little confused. They say the chords for this song are A # D # and E #. I am really confused by the E # because I never knew it even existed. I was told this is the exact chord as F, but I am playing all these chords on the 6th fret and would like to know what chord should I play for the E #? Also, if you guys know of any other sites that may have the chords for this song let me know :)!
Thanks,
Christianna

E# is the same as F, just as G# is the same as Ab.
Here is some tab for some places to play E# or F:

or if you want to stay in the same position as the A# and D#,

There are 2 naturally occuring half steps in the chromatic scale. They are between (B and C) and (E and F). The sharp sign means to raise the note 1/2 step or 1 fret on the guitar. This would tell you to take E and raise it 1/2 step. This is automatically going to be F. This is great if you are using Bar Chords, however, it would be more beneficial if you found the fingering that was used or look for the guitar tab.

Did you try "Ultimate Guitar Tabs Archive"? Google it and check to see if the chords for that song are the same as what you have.
Look up how to play chords here http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/
also, try using a capo on a different friend maybe it will sound better and more right!
