Well if I thought the guy was looking at me for some reason I would probably get a mirror see what was on my face and if to no avail ask him what the h*ll he was looking at. Personally men who stare at women irck my nerves. Not to mention I am married so now it gets on my nerves even worse. Why can't guys just go and talk to a women like they got some sense instead of thinking women can read minds and know what they are thinking.

I, would change my glance in a way that lets him CLEARLY see that my gaze was shifting from something else to him.

Then, I would make a face like "What?"

I'm not trying to big up ANYONE'S ego. lol.

THEN I would either look away, or resume looking at whatever it was I was originally looking at, if it was still all that interesting.

well if i was looking at something and a guy randomly looked at me and i noticed i wouldn't look away. i am shy, but i wasn't looking at the guy i was looking at whatever it is, so what reason would i have for looking away? i think your just reading more into the scenario.

even though i am shy i would glance back at him and than continue looking at the object i was looking at.

well the first thing i do is see if he keeps looking at me then i go up to him and talk to him
