Hot water bottle or some other form of heat pad.

If later in life you go on the contraceptive pill this also helps some people.

There is somthing called a tens machine, it sends tiny electrical pulses through the nerves and in doing so, blocking the pain messeges to the brain, it really helps, and as i have to use one, i would definatly reccomend it,

Other recommendations are:

- Keeping a low-fat, high-fish diet

- Restricting salt intake

- Reducing sugar, alchohol & caffeine

- Taking vitamins and minerals (Vit B & calcium)

Otherwise, there are a couple of alternative remedies if you're keen on them: yoga, chiropractic techniques and herbal remedies.

Eat bananas, take a walk in the sun, take a hot bath. Don't lie around a lot, that just makes it worse. Avoid salt.

take a hot water bottle and cover it with a towel and place it on your stomach for half an hour, or u could try a nice but not too hot bubble bath as i find that this works for me
