I think he would be kinda weirded out if you just magically got his number, you really should get it from him.

act shy, write him a letter and tell him exactly how you
feel....tell him at the end "i dont expect you to act a
certain way... i just really wanted you to know how i feel."
then just sit back, relax and it does feel better since you
