Both are excellent schools. Ga. Tech is highly regarded for engineering. I don't know that BC is known for technical and scientific fields.
The culture and climate of the two areas couldn't be much more different, however. Ga. Tech is full of nice southern boys who open the door for women and place a high priority on sports. The climate is mild, and Atlanta is a fabulous city. BC is full of students who think life is too serious to wear makeup and colorful clothes. The climate is cold, and Boston is a fabulous city. Where do you think you'd fit in?
BTW- my daughter was accepted at schools in New England and California. When we visited the school in New England, I really didn't think she'd fit in there- she's not intense and depressed enough. She was much happier in California. She grew up in Atlanta- there are definite culture shock issues.
