Just got a PS3 from HMV 2 days ago, the game works fine, and so do blu-ray films but when i play any DVD it is constantly jumping and jerking from frame to frame and also from chapter to chapter as if it is struggling to read the disc, anyone know whats wrong?

Is it faulty, and should i take it back and demand another? I know there is 2 seperate lasers in the unit for reading blu-ray discs and normal dvd/cd discs so you think the DVD laser is faulty?

Its connected to a Toshiba 32" via HDMI, it was also doing the same when i was using the scart lead and had it connected to a 19" Samsung!

I dont know what to do, i dont think its anything to do with the settings, i think it is an actual fault. But anyone else input would be great, thanks!
