I don't think anyone would sell any gift card for 400$ less than what it' worth. You might be able to get like a 50$ card for 45$. But I doubt it.

You don't get gift cards for cheap as in less than 75% of their original value. The average gift cards when they are sold "cheap" are sold for $5-$25 less than their original value. The person who was selling a $500 E-bay gift card for $60 was probably a scam, as they are common on the Internet.
